We are happy to invite you to a unique event in Table Manners.
At the LSCE we do believe that the dining table is not a board to carry food. It is a place where people share ideas, make jokes, fall in love and make business. A dinner for a special occasion or simply for no reason is not a quick snack or a meal to satisfy the hunger.
The dinner party is a real art, it is the meal which you share with your family, colleagues, partners, clients. At our workshops, we will talk about the importance of etiquette in building relationships. We will learn the difference between a meal and a true Dinner. We will share the rules everyone should apply to feel free in any company to get the most out of the process. You will learn why knowledge of table manners gives you freedom and not impose limits.
Types of Receptions: Formal, Informal, Home
Hosting a party: dates, guest list, invitations
Guest seating arrangements, Couverts, napkins, plates, utensils, cups
Continental and American styles
Communication with a waiter, tips
Small Talk and toasts
Eating tips: bread, meat, fish, soup, sauces, vegetables, fruits, dessert.
Beverages: glasses, enogastronomy
Practical Part: Dinner at a Restaurant

Your investment for a 2-hour workshop is 120 euro plus 3% VAT. A Three Course Dinner + drinks at a restaurant are offered to each participant.
